Many of us cannot decide whether it is better to stay in own country or go abroad for a better life. Today's post will help you decide in this regard. Let's read the entire post without any delay.

Introduction

Many may have different opinions on whether it is better to stay in own country or go abroad for a better life. In the discussion post I will try to highlight both aspects so that it will convenient for you to decide what you should do. Today I will discuss the necessity of living in one's own country, where it is better to move abroad for a better quality of life, what is the life of expatriates abroad and a comparative discussion between one's own country and abroad.

What is the need to stay in your own country?

If we talk about the need to stay in our country first we have to talk about what is good for the country. If you give your talent and labor for your country, your country will benefit and if the country benefits, you and the people around you will also benefit.

Many people think that life is better if they go abroad, but 71 percent of people in Bangladesh ask their children to stay in the country rather than abroad. Because they think future generations will be better in their own country.

A survey titled "World Attitudes" by Pew Research, an international research institute based in Washington, USA, said that developing countries have more prospects for future generations than developed or rich countries. Bangladesh is a developing country.

They also say that citizens of developing countries with high growth rates are more optimistic. 58 percent of Asians think they will be in better position than their parents. Among the people who believe in this belief are 95 percent of Vietnam, 67 percent of India, 85 percent of China and 71 percent of Bangladesh.

On the other hand, 65 percent of people in the United States and Europe think that the financial situation of the child will be worse in the future than the parents. Pew Research conducted a survey on whether it is better to stay in own country or go abroad for a better life.

People from countries like Russia, Japan, China, United States, United Kingdom, Venezuela, India, Pakistan, South Africa participated in it. In this survey, education and hard work are claimed as major determinants for a better life.

In this case, 60 percent education and 50 percent hard work have been claimed as reasons for better quality of life. In many cases, it is important to stay in one's own country, not just for one's own benefit, but to keep in direct contact with our immediate neighbors. Bangladesh is now a developing country. Many possibilities are being created in this country. Therefore, one should give his/her intellectual and labor to move forward their own country.

Where would it be better to move abroad for a better quality of life?

Although Bangladesh is a developing country, it is still not able to compete with developed countries. Still the education system of our country is not so advanced as in Europe and America. For this reason, the first choice for the students of our country is to study abroad.

However, the main obstacle to study abroad is the cost of study and living. And if the calculation of expenses matches with this world-class education system and better life for someone, then they can desire to go abroad. At that time there is no confusion about whether it is better to stay in the country or to go abroad for a better life.

How is life abroad for Expatriates?

Expatriate life means leaving the illusion of own country and family to abroad for earning some extra money. This crossing is very happy for some and very sad for some. Although it is happy for those who are studying and doing good jobs or doing business living abroad, those who are going as laborers and sending money to their home country by doing hard work, their life is very difficult which cannot be expressed in one word.

Foreign currency sent by these expatriates i.e. remittances is a major source of Bangladesh's reserves. Here I will talk about those migrant worker brothers. 90 percent of expatriates are workers. Expatriate workers spend one-third of the salary they get on their own room rent, food, mobile phone and other expenses.

The remaining two-thirds are sent to his family and relatives to keep them well. Even if he himself has not eaten a meal, he does not hesitate to send money to his family. Also, because of the responsibility towards the society, they help by giving money to various social and religious events or institutions. There are many of them who are not getting any proper salary.

Even though he borrows money from others for the family to be well, he sends money to the family and says with a heavy heart that I am fine. Expatriate labor brothers have to do many dangerous jobs. In this work, many labor brothers return dead due to cerebral hemorrhage, heart attack or in road accident.

They have to survive by fighting against many adverse weather conditions. Especially in June, July, August, September they have to work at a temperature of 45 to 50 degrees Celsius. So the life of migrant brothers is never pleasant.

Comparative discussion between own country and abroad

Now it is up to you to decide whether it is better to stay in own country or go abroad for a better life. If you have a good family status in your country, good financial status, have a good family then it will be better to live in your country. In this you can easily meet your family and relatives.

And now the medical system in Bangladesh is also improving where the abroad medical system is very good but you have to wait for months to get a doctor's appointment. If you have good money, you can enroll your children in high quality schools and colleges. And if you go abroad you can earn a lot of money but for that you have to work hard besides being away from family and relatives.

If you are sick you have to take care of yourself alone. I think only those who have bad family situation should live abroad. They will be able to easily run the family by earning money from abroad. For this you have to give up the illusion of being in the country. Besides the security system of the foreign country is good.

But Europe becomes a bit difficult for a good Muslim because there are some restrictions on practicing the religion. In that case, you can go to a Muslim country. Foreign countries are better than Bangladesh for research. The quality of research in Bangladesh has not yet improved. So for your career, you can come to your own country with higher education from abroad and work for the welfare of the country or you can stay in that country decision yours.

Author's comments
